Student Relationship Developer

Job Description

The Relationship Developer will be responsible for facilitating student and client relationships through educating and engaging our user base in all the appropriate and available platforms in the business to deliver value to our clients. He/she will be the primary link between the clients, and the specialist internal functions hence must provide the services in sync with our core values and best practices. The Relationship Developer will have operational and revenue targets.

  • Develop a strong understanding of core markets with a focus on higher education, regulatory policy, economic structures and industry dynamics
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of student, university and country segments
  • Assessing student goals and objectives, competencies, academic credentials, experience and future vision through using the appropriate internal and external tools
  • Formulating/validating proper recommendations for our students backed by data and research
  • Facilitating interaction between students and universities to drive their higher education plans
  • Understand updated information on higher education, career opportunities and industry dynamics to drive best outcomes for students
  • Build competencies to help students formulate a comprehensive admission strategy that best articulates student objectives and desired outcomes
  • Facilitate administrative requirements throughout the student journey, e.g. application, visa
  • Interact with universities to manage relationships, and learning and development
  • Revenue generation based on the assigned portfolio
  • 2-5 years experience in managing customer relationships in a high-performance B2C service environment
  • Excellent communication skills & interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to critically analyse information and drive data-driven decision making
